The staff and pupils of Houston Primary School are pleased to welcome you to our website.
We hope the information contained on this site will be useful to you and help you understand the life and work of Houston Primary.
Over the years, Houston Primary has built up a very good reputation for high academic standards, whilst continuing to develop the whole child. The staff, pupils and parents work together to develop each child's full potential not only intellectually, but also socially and morally.
The present school building was opened in 1976 and we are very proud of our modern building. A two storey extension was added to the building in 2007 to enhance provision. We strive to provide a warm, caring atmosphere in which children are happy and respond positively to the opportunities for learning offered through the many wide and varied activities in the school.
